They only approved a small part of my request, and the explanation they gave was weak. I guess customers are just supposed to accept it and move on, but it didn’t feel fair at all

I went through the KYC and uploaded my documents without too much trouble. The steps were clear enough and it didn’t take very long. One page did load a bit slowly, which was annoying, but I guess overall it worked fine.

"Claim Process Turned Into Unnecessary Stress"
I bought device protection from Acko thinking the claim process would be simple, but it has been the opposite. They kept asking me for the same documents and photos again and again, which became really frustrating. Every time I contacted customer care, the only answer I got was to wait another 24–48 hours. My phone repair claim is still stuck with no proper update, and it has added so much unexpected stress over something that should have been straightforward. It feels like they make the process difficult so people eventually give up. Not happy with the experience at all.

I used Acko for my claim recently, the speed wasn’t great. Every time I checked, they kept saying it was “under process,” but the updates were slow. I had to follow up multiple times, sometimes during my lunch break and once while I was literally standing outside a grocery store with my phone at 8% battery. In the end, the claim did get settled, so that part was fine, but it took way more days than I had expected.

I had a frustrating experience with my claim. It ended up getting rejected, and every time I tried to follow up, I felt like I was just getting the same copy-paste response back. When you're dealing with something that could cost you money, you want clear answers and some reassurance, not generic replies. It definitely made me more cautious about relying on them in the future...

"Pretty smooth once it got going"
I don’t usually deal with insurance stuff unless I absolutely have to, so when I had to raise a health claim, I was already expecting it to be a bit of a headache. I spent some time getting my papers together and had a few doubts about what exactly was needed, but acko support helped me out with the documents and kept the updates fairly clear. There was one reply that took a little longer than I would’ve liked, but nothing too frustrating. In the end, the claim was settled without much back and forth, which was a relief. Overall, it turned out to be a simple and helpful experience for me.

I’ve been waiting weeks for my refund and I’m confused at this point. Every time I contact support, they just tell me to wait a little longer, but they don’t really explain what’s causing the delay or when I should actually expect it. I thought this would be a simple process, so I’m not sure why it’s taking this long.

"Works okay for basic stuff"
I use the Acko app mainly to check my policy and renew it when needed. It opens without any problem and the layout is simple so I did not feel lost. But sometimes the pages load slowly and once or twice it asked me to log in again for no clear reason. Finding claim details was also a bit annoying. Overall it does the basic job fine but the app still needs some improvement.

"Support didn’t really help me"
I had a annoying experience with Acko support. I just wanted to ask a few basic things about my claim, but they kept sending the same kind of copy-paste replies again and again. Nobody properly told me what was actually pending or how much time it would take. The chat also got closed twice, which made it feel like they weren’t even reading my issue. Maybe they were busy or something, but still, if support can’t explain things then what’s the point. Overall it was very frustrating.

I tried cancelling my policy on acko.com, the experience felt frustrating. The app itself is decent and easy enough to use, so I expected the cancellation to be simple too, but it wasn’t. It’s kind of mixed for me because the platform isn’t bad overall, but the cancellation process really needs to be clearer and faster.

I recently got my car repaired through Acko, it was a mixed experience. The car came back working fine, so no complaints on that front, and the service was quick too. But the finishing didn’t feel very neat to me. I noticed a few small scratches were still there and had to point them out myself, which was a bit disappointing. Since I personally expected better attention to detail from Acko, I’d say the overall experience was just okay...
